Appleton Special

Bacardi Superior

Origin: Cuba

Due to Bacardi Superior Rum's perfectly balanced taste it was used by cocktail pioneers as the principle ingredient in the birth of the world's best known rum cocktails including the Mojito (1860s), later featured in the 1931 book called Cuban Cookery, the Daiquiri (1896), the Cuba Libre (1900) and the Bacardi Cocktail TM (1917).

Myers's is 100 per cent Jamaican Rum using only pure Jamaican molasses.

Over 14 different rums aged between three to five years are blended together to make Bacardi Oro Rum. It is a premium, golden rum, offering a more prominent flavour profile to Bacardi Superior Rum.

Cockspur Five Star

Origin: Barbados

Significantly smoother on the palate than many other brown spirits, the quality stands out whether it's straight or mixed. In Barbados, Cockspur & Coke is a popular favourite. Five Star is light and golden in colour with an uncomplicated, pleasant smell. Its taste is extremely smooth, round and warm, which becomes spicy on the palate, getting slightly buttery towards the end.

Goslings Gold

Origin: Bermuda

You'll find it has a rich, golden amber colour, a nose of vanilla, apricot, mango and a lightly smoked oak character. The taste is smooth and light with hints of citrus/tropical flavours and nutty undertones.

Unusually versatile, it can be enjoyed straight, on-the-rocks, with ginger ale or as a mixer to enhance any rum recipe.

Havana Club Especial

Origin: Cuba

The aguardientes of this 'anejo especial' are aged in oak barrels, giving it a remarkable aroma and a warm golden glow.

Savour it on the rocks, in cocktails, or mixed with cola and other mixers.

Lambs Spiced

Origin: Jamaica

Lamb's Spiced is expertly blended Golden Caribbean Rum with natural flavours of vanilla, cinnamon and lime.

Morgan's Spiced

Origin: Caribbean

Morgan's Spiced combines quality golden rums from throughout the Caribbean and a variety of different spices, including vanilla. The rum was distilled from the fermented juice from sugar cane. The blending operation produces this deservedly popular distinctive spirit.

Mount Gay Extra Old

Origin - Barbados

The predominant aroma is the rich, mellow, oak character which is in perfect balance with the sweet, fuity notes and light banana-type aroma of a well matured double distilled rum. Light, burnt-wood character with subtle sugar cane notes with a taste that is light bodied with an excellent level of well-digested wood characters which harmonises well with the aroma.

Pampero

Origin: Venezuela

Little-known in the UK, but highly rated elsewhere, this is a premium rum from Venezuela. The suppliers describe this as having a complex spicy and rich aroma with a robust, sweet, smooth and warming taste. Apparently this is often drunk 'El Ritual': rum with lime, sugar and coffee.

Pusser's 15 Year old

Origin: BVI's

Pussers is known for both its colourful history and its rich flavour. It was never sold or available to the public until 1979. If a connoiseur obtained a tot or two, he valued it for a very special occasion because there was nothing else like it.

The Pussers 15 year old is exceptional and equivalent to the finest cognac or brandy in every way. Interestingly, at the end of 15 years of aging in wood, only about 7% of the original rum remains in the barrel. the balance will have evaporated into the air. Thus it toof the equivalent of about 16 bottles of rum to produce this single bottle of 15 year old Pussers!
