Last night's South African Food & Wine evening was very successful, be sure you dont miss the next one which will be Italian themed. Date to be announced shortly.
Thursday Steak Nights are still as popular as ever and the price has stayed the same, £12 for a 10 oz Ribeye with chips, onion rings, salad and a sauce. Booking essential. Our Sunday roasts, "possibly" the best in the village are also great value at £8.95 - 100 people can't be wrong every Sunday!!! Do book as we definately do not have enough tables on a Sunday.
At last we have a fully functioning woodburner in The Lower Deck, and the pub is warm and cosy. We are serving evening meals from Tuesdays to Saturdays (7 to 9pm) and lunch every day from 12 to 3pm. The Lower Deck is a great venue for parties and functions and can seat up to 30 guests.
Do you wish to network in the Hamble area? - Business people all welcome - the first Business Breakfast is at 7.30am on Thursday 3rd February in The Lower Deck. Breakfast is £5 - please let us know if you are attending.
The next Hamble Crabbers dinner is Friday 4th February in The Lower Deck @£20 p.p - a fundraiser by locals for the Hamble Lifeboat - limited tickets. On the 18th February we will also be supporting the "Go Orange campaign" - by offering jugs of orange coloured drinks - profits of course going to our local lifeboat again!
Oh and by the way, on Monday the 14th February, The King and Queen is a "Valentine Free Zone" !!! NO red hearts or tables for two!
