Spring must be on its way!!! We had people eating in the garden today.
We are serving food this evening (Friday 5th March). We have been having many requests for evening meals and we will be aiming to serve food most evenings very soon and starting our popular BBQ's. We'll keep you posted.As we have so few tables it is always wise to book.
Don't forget Live Blues Music this Saturday 6th March from 8.30pm and then the village favourites, Splinterz are playing next Friday 12th March at 8.30pm.
If you enjoy fine wines and want to learn more about matching food with wine, we are hosting an evening on Wednesday 10th March. Julien Durand of Heritage Wines who was the Sommelier at Gordon Ramsay's 2x Michelin Star Restuarant "Petrus" will be talking us through an informative and fun evening, tasting good food and fine wines. Guests will be able to purchase wines on the evening - none of these wines are available through retail outlets. Tickets are £20 and must be reserved as we will be restricted on numbers.
We serve about 100 Roasts every Sunday and we are currently taking bookings for Mother's Day, (14th March) at 12.00, 2.00 or 4.00 pm. Nearly fully booked!
On the 17th March, St Paddy's Day ( which we will celebrate as usual!!!) we are having a Cantonese Food Evening. Guinness goes with everything we reckoned - so join us - Tracy our chef is cooking up a storm of flavours - for £10 p.p it will be great value for money with a selection of food - eat as much as you can from our buffet.
Entries for our Pursuit Race to raise much needed funds for the Hamble Lifeboat are pouring in!!! Have you paid up yet - it's the most fun you'll have all season - both on and off the water.
